1. Agreement to terms

By requesting a quote from or booking work with ClearShield Auto Glass LLC, you agree to these Terms of Service and to all applicable laws and regulations of the State of Florida.

2. Services

ClearShield Auto Glass provides mobile auto glass services, including:

  • Mobile windshield replacement using OE (Original Equipment) glass
  • Mobile ADAS calibration, static and dynamic, with pre-scan and post-scan reporting
  • Rock chip resin repair where the damage is repairable
  • Insurance claim filing and direct billing on your behalf

3. Insurance claims and pricing

Where you carry comprehensive coverage on a Florida-registered vehicle, Florida Statute 627.7288 requires your insurer to waive the deductible on windshield replacement. In those cases we bill your carrier directly and you pay nothing out of pocket. Coverage outcomes are determined by your insurer, not by us. We verify coverage before scheduling and tell you your expected cost in advance.

Cash quotes are given in USD and depend on your vehicle, glass specification, sensors, and whether calibration is required. A quote is valid for 30 days unless we tell you otherwise.

4. Appointments and cancellation

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Mobile work requires a suitable location: a reasonably level surface, room to work at the front of the vehicle, and dry conditions. We may reschedule for weather, since urethane cannot be applied in rain. Repeated missed appointments where glass has already been ordered may incur a restocking charge on special-order parts.

5. Safe drive-away time

Your technician will give you a specific safe drive-away time before leaving. Driving the vehicle before that time may compromise the bond and is done at your own risk. Please leave retention tape in place for 24 hours and avoid high-pressure car washes for 48 hours.

6. Warranty

We provide a lifetime workmanship warranty covering leaks, wind noise, and adhesion or moulding defects arising from our installation, for as long as you own the vehicle. The warranty does not cover new impact damage, stress cracks originating from pre-existing body damage or a damaged pinch weld, or work performed on the glass by a third party after our install. Glass defects are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which we help you claim.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ClearShield Auto Glass LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question, or the cost of remedying the defective workmanship, whichever is greater.

8. Vehicle condition

Vehicles with pre-existing rust at the pinch weld, prior improper installations, or aftermarket accessories bonded to the glass may require additional work, which we will discuss with you before proceeding. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions revealed during removal.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, and images, is the property of ClearShield Auto Glass LLC and is protected by copyright law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. The terms in force at the time of your booking govern that job.
