ClearShield Is Now a State Farm Preferred Auto Glass Shop Across Florida

ClearShield Auto Glass is now listed as a State Farm preferred auto glass provider for our Florida service area, from Ocala in the north down through Tampa, Orlando, Sarasota, Fort Myers, and Naples.

If you’re a State Farm policyholder anywhere in that corridor, it changes three practical things about getting your windshield replaced.

1. You can request us by name

When you call State Farm or file a glass claim through their app, you’ll be offered a shop. You are always free to choose your own, and now that we’re in the preferred network, asking for ClearShield is a two-second step rather than a conversation.

Say “I’d like to use ClearShield Auto Glass” and the claim gets routed to us. Or skip that entirely, call us first, and we’ll open the claim on your behalf.

2. We bill State Farm directly

No paying up front and waiting on a reimbursement check. The invoice goes to State Farm, we get paid by them, and you sign a work order rather than writing anything.

For qualifying comprehensive claims in Florida, that means $0 out of pocket. Florida Statute 627.7288 requires insurers to waive the deductible on windshield replacement when you carry comprehensive coverage, so there’s genuinely nothing to pay.

3. Approval moves faster

Being in the preferred network means our shop details, licensing, and insurance are already verified in their system. Claims we submit clear faster than they would from an unlisted shop, which in practice is often the difference between a same-day appointment and waiting until Thursday.

What hasn’t changed

Being a preferred shop doesn’t mean cutting corners to hit a network price.

• OE glass stays the default. Original Equipment glass matches factory optical clarity, acoustic dampening, and the ADAS camera bracket. We quote it as standard, not as an upgrade.
• Calibration is still done in-house. If your vehicle has a windshield camera, we recalibrate it in the same visit with static targets, a dynamic road cycle, or both, and give you a pass report.
• The lifetime workmanship warranty still applies. Every install, insurance or cash, carries our warranty for as long as you own the vehicle.
